Team Hype Videos
Many thanks to all who supported Skyline Football at our Cafe Rio fundraiser this past Thursday and Family BBQ on Tuesday. This has been a great summer of conditioning, and I think our team is well prepared to officially start the season on July 25!
Weekly Hype Videos
The Booster Board is excited about the possibility of Weekly Hype Videos for Skyline Football. Steve Tate has connected us with a great sports videographer that has experience with social media and the value of short videos that can be spread quickly, as well as produced much quicker than old-school highlight videos. You can see the video he produced from our padded camp, either using the link below, or viewing it on Instagram. Many of our boys and parents have already shared it on their personal social media platforms, and it brings a level of visibility to our program that we haven't had for several years. This is the "Mad Dog" product of the 2020s, and Skyline Football should be at the forefront.
The videos will cost $450 per game, so we need families to sponsor the video each week. Their sponsorship would include their names at the beginning or end of the video and they would be tagged in that week's video posting. An example tagline might be "Thanks to the Tate and Walker-Adams family for this week's video. Good luck to Bo (#1 @bota1e) and Rayce (#21 @rayce.walker) in our game. Go Eagles! Hopefully we can get enough sponsors to have a video each week. All money for the video sponsorships would pass through the Booster Club to the videographer.
We have two generous families that have committed $250 to each weekly video, so we need to raise an additional $200/video. Please consider donating to the Booster Club for the videos. Any donation over $100 will be acknowledged in the video and your social media (and your son's) will be tagged on Instagram. We welcome business donations as well, and will highlight them on social media just like a family donation.
